The problem is not on the iPhone. You are using IMAP, and the same thing can happen with POP3, and it is something to do with Google gmail. The default settings for gmail is to keep all messages, even when you delete them. Gmail tracks the deletion flag whilst saving the messages. When you use a

Hi there, Question. I've had a couple of email accounts going on my IPhone with no problems. One of them is my gmail account. Whenever I'd delete messages from it on my IPhone, it would be no problem and I wouldn't see them again. I just got back from being out of town, and to my surprise, w
