Interesting how one sometimes doesn't think of the easy answers, but this one

Hi Jim,
Yes, but TruePlay is listening to what the microphone picks up and I believe
this has to be the external microphone since the microphone on the headset
doesn't

Hi,
What about headphones without a mic, then the standard mic would get used?
Cheers,
Brett.

I have to admit that I am a little hesitant with regard to Sonos and
spending a lot of money only to determine that the latest and greatest new
feature may or may not ever work

Hi again, Brett,
If you do get a set of Play 3 or whatever and figure out the TruePlay let me
know your experience. I'll definitely bring this up with Sonos again to see if
they can't figure out a way around

Hi,
I can confirm your experience. From what I'm told this is normal behavior for
now.
I've been told that they haven't figured how to get it to work properly without

That is correct, I have been beta testing for Sonos for some years now and
TruePlay is not currently supported when Voiceover is running.

Hello folks,
As you probably know, at least you who have Sonos, they recently introduced a
feature they call ”True play” which apparently is some kind of compensation for
the room in which your Sonos player is. This feature has a setting where you
set the Trueplay thingy up, only this feature
fully accurate or if there's been an update I'm sure others
who know more than do I will chime in and elaborate. I hope this helps.
