I’m about to do the same. It’s my understanding by backing up to either iTunes
on a computer or iCloud and then restoring from that backup will restore all
the parts of each app.
Just checked. I’m using 8.1.1 and within settings, iCloud there’s an option to
backup. It’s between p
downloading them once again to
your new device. So you won’t have to recall which books you had or didn’t
have on your device.
