I like the bard app. Maybe NLS will make it ICloud compatible so it can track
the place in a book across IOS devices.

Hi there, you can do this with the Audible app if you have the book
downloaded on both devices. This is because the Audible app will sync
your position with Audible and it will be noted when you start listening
on another device. So, NLS bard would have to do this to get what you
want. You migh
That's odd. I have an iPhone 4, an iPhone 5s and an iPad air. I haven't

I have the bard app on all my devices. I would love to see the ability to
start reading a Talking Book on one device and pick up where I left off on
another. Even if it means

Well, it is good to know someone has seen this. I have seen it on a couple
books. The most recent one is "Killing Jesus" by Bill O'Riley. It occurred
between chapter 10 and 11.
I am sorry to hear that the library is not more responsive.

I think someone mentioned a few months ago this happening on books that were
copied from audiocassette. I have had it occur on a couple of books. Actually,
however, I have never gone back to see if the words were actually repeated or
if there was just a skip.

Unfortunately, they have to be able to replicate it to do anything about it,
and I can't even replicate it in the same book.

I found it entirely on an unhelpful and they disappointed me greatly.

I have had it happen a few times, but infrequently enough that I do not
remember specifically the last incident. As was pointed out by another
poster, it seems to happen more frequently with books that have been
converted from cassette, when a track change announcement is given. But

I've had this happen most often on books converted from cassette, also

I really wish that the Bard app would let you start listening to a talking book
