Yes, if you connect to any WiFi you should be able to download your music, but
please note that this as far as I know if not an automated process. Maybe Anna
can give you better instructions since I haven't downloaded music to my phone

Daniel,
I apologize but I don’t quite understand. I can play a song from my mac that I
burned from a CD on my iPhone. Well, at least I could do that a few weeks ago.
I haven't’ tried it lately. I also have not tried it on my appleTV yet. I’d
appreciate any clarification as I do not understand h
John,
Yes, I am paying for apple music. I apologize, I thought you were asking about
iTunes match. I am not paying for match but I am paying for apple music.

You don't have to have your music in the cloud for that. As long as you have
the music on your computer and you turn on home sharing you can play the music
that is on your computer via your Apple TV. Of course the computer has to be on
and iTunes has to be open.

Hi Christina,
It’s not a mistake. Apple Music incorporates the matching functionality of
iTunes Match, but with some caveats. If you don’t pay for iTunes Match, and you
download a copy of a song it matched with the apple music catalog, the copy you
download can only be played on that specific d
No, I am not paying for iTunes Match. On my phone when I first set up apple
music I was asked if I wanted to use iCloud and I said, yes. Then when I was on
my Mac setting up apple music in iTunes I was asked the same question and I
opted to use iCloud. I was shocked to find music on my iPhone fr
She’s got to be paying for it or iTunes Match, otherwise the only music that
will be in the cloud is stuff you’ve purchased from iTunes. It’s either those 2
options or no dice. Sorry.

hmmm, don’t you just have to turn iCloud on for apple music? The whole thing is
a bit confusing to me but all I know is that I turned iCloud on in iTunes on my
Mac and my music was available on my iPhone which has iCloud music turned on as
well. I also turned it on on my apple TV. I doubt I was
The only way then is to purchase the music from the iTunes Store then it
will become available in iCloud automatically with iTunes in the cloud.
Otherwise you will have to pay for either iTunes Match or Apple Music in
which they both allow you to upload and listen to your collection from

Hi, Mary!
Well, this Apple Music lark is quite a tortuous and mysterious process! You
have to enable iCloud Music Library to start the process going. I have never
had iTunes Match so I had to enable Apple Music too and then Apple servers had
to start from scratch scanning my iTunes library and
I must say that Mary's is the sort of experience I have. I too have got match
subscription but I can't find anything relating to itunes match in the menus,
and my icloud library is enabled although I had not enabled it knowingly. I'm
totally confused. I've been reading constantly on the list
Hi Harry,
I can't answer the question you asked about how you're going to get your music
back on your Mac. But I am curious that you said you enabled iCloud music. I
just checked on my Mac and it seems iCloud music is enabled for me as well. But
I did not enable it. Did you have to enable it? I

Hi Shawn,
I think that what has happened is that you have Show All turned on. When it's
on, all your iCloud music is listed, even when it's not actually on your phone.
Most of your music probably has Download buttons after each track that you can
use to download the tracks if you wish.
