To my knowledge, the only place where the new Text Selection feature does not work is in Messages. This is one big place where I wish it would work. If you open a text message and find some text, you will not find the Text Selection rodar item at all. I was talking with some colleagues today about

The Text Selection is easily my favorite. First, go into VoiceOver Rotor settings and make sure Text Selection is selected, it is not by default. Then, when you get to a place on the web or in an Email or probably lots of other places, turn the rotor to text selection and then flick up or down to
