Hi. I haven't looked thoroughly into this, but I just did a google search.
apparently, this is for a previous version, but someone posted on a forum that
they tried checking and then unchecking the box for manually syncing songs, and
it worked for them and another person. Odd little glitch there
Well, that is indeed a mystery. Why would one person have the control and
another not? How strange.

is the option to open iTunes when the device is connected. It's necessary on
the Mac to interact with the scroll area.

It used to be on the Summary tab, but I don't think it's there any more. I
assume if you check to Sync your iPhone when you connect it which still is
in the Summary Tab then iTunes will most likely open, otherwise you just
have to open it manually. Personally I never liked iTunes to op
