I think that was the issue. I had tried out the default voice without noticing
that the other one said speak street names.
I was in a vehicle, so thought maybe that was the issue, but it looks like it
was the choice of default voice.

That depends on how you have the settings, in "sound" i think, there's an
option to choose what voice you want, standard voice or another that in the
Swedish case is named Malin, it says read street names.
