I'm not sure if this is what you're running into or not, but IOS 7 added
container support for the iPhones, so you might be hearing the little
chirp you get when you jump into a new container.

I also got into troubles with this function. I simply use the normal writing
function, and now I am using the way that lets me place one finger on the
letter and if I place another finger besides
It usually happens to me when I'm at the bottom.
It's the sound that tells you when you can swipe up with 1 finger to go to
the control center
