copy an album or even just a few songs to your hard drive and play

Actually my hard drive is attached via USB, but I just plug my stereo amp
into the laptop and no wireless.

Hi Tom
Hi Tom,
Is this a USB hard drive that is connected to your computer via cable or a
network attached hard drive that is connected by cable to a router and then
you are accessing it wirelessly from a laptop? If there is a WiFi connection
involved it could be your WiFi that causes the drop-outs.
Hi Tom,
I think that if the new drive has the same drive letter as the old one, iTunes
will be able to find your music just fine. If it has a different drive letter,
you'll need to delete all the music in your iTunes library and add it again.
HTH,
Anna
