Sabrina Did you set the type of notification you wanted through Notification Settings, not through the setting called sound? There are a lot of choices to be made and likely a done button to lock them in place. Oh, this may be done differently with IOS 13, so I may be barking

Along with insuring that Do Not Disturb is off, and making sure the mute switch is not on, in the sound settings, find the sound volume and make sure it is loud enough and that the button just after the volume is set to Not Change with buttons. If none of that works, try powering off and back on

Hi, I am curious, when you get a phone call, does the phone ring? If not check the silent switch on the side of the phone. Also, make sure do not disturb is not turned on. Sometimes, restarting will fix this issue. Having said that, I haven’t lost sounds in several years. Regards, Cory From
