Hallo Larry,
thank you for buying the ColorVisor. I'm sorry that you haven't that much luck
with it from the beginning. Did you solved the problem, meanwhile?
As Richard said, if you are in normal light conditions you may hold the camera
a few inch away from the object. Take care about the
Hi Jan,
I am curious if I were to put a white sheet of paper down and then placed a
wire on the paper, would ColorVisor be able to give the color of that wire?
Thanks,
Scott

Black may give better contrast. Black background works well with OCR.

Hi Scott,
I just tried this here and was able to identify a white and a red wire of a
double wired cabel. Each wire was less than a millimeter in diameter. However,
it is a bit more to do about it. First, as already mentioned here, a black or
dark background brings better results. Catching the

Hi Kerri,
I don't know anything about color visor, but I'd say that iOS 6 sluggishness
on the 3G S is due to the limited ram and processing power that phone has,
compared to the newer models. Someone in the family has a 3G S as well, and
I've used VoiceOver on it, and it's just as sluggish as you
Figure that iOS 6 is most likely the last update for the iPhone 3GS. That
hardware just doesn't have what is necessary to handle anything beyond where
iOS 6 is. That hardware is being pushed to the limits.

Hi all.
I thought when u opened color visor, and pointed the camera at something it
automatically told you the color? Not seeming to work for me since the update.
Any suggestions or anyone else having this issue?
Thanks in advance!
