When playing a track in the music app, there is a hint that says double tap to
see more controls. But when I double tap the only thing that happens is the
music is turned on or off. I know this used to work for me but I have no idea
what I'm doing wrong. Can anybody help?

Is there a good music app other than the standard one that works on the iPad?
If possible, I'd like it to have a clutter free appearance sort of like the one
on the iPhone. I think the standard music app on the iPad looks more cluttered

This is true for any app that you are in. If you double tap the home button
and go into the app switcher, whatever app you were in when you entered the
switcher won't show up in the switcher because it is considered in use.

accident. Songs shouldn't start up again unless you want them to.

Is there a way to stop a song and unload the music app? The only command I
can find on screen is the 'Pause' button. But most of the time it starts up
again when I am trying to do something else afterward. I've looked all over
the Help system for an answer

double tap, hold and then swipe. There is a menu button which comes up at
the end of the whole list of albums, but double tapping and holding doesn't
do anything either!
