I advise you to go to a good education maybe with an association for blind
or visually impaired users for how to learn and use ios system especially
with voiceover.
There is nothing wrong with that! Sometimes in the blind world I hear that
some people feel stupid or are reluctant to go to
Evan, that's interesting how you went into settings and discovered how you
could adjust to just the time to give you a little more time.

When I first got my iPad Mini, it seemed that I wasn't double tapping fast
enough. So I went to the Settings and discovered that I could change the
length of time my iPad would wait for a second tap. I changed that and I was
able to get my double taps in. I can double tap faster now than I
Joshua, see that, you catching on and doing the rotor, catching on to all
this, and the swiping too. I was more a less sliding with my finger on the
screen finding everything which was working fine enough and I still do some
of that. Then possibly it was about a year into using my phone in
Definitely Apple Accessibility is more suitable for most of us than just Apple
Support.

You have a definite point about Apple Accessibility, Janet, especially if you
have another phone you can call them on and then work with your iPhone with
them.

I think they'll be able to fix it at Verizon - theye live to work these phones,
are lightning fast at doing something faster than I can think about it.

I was able to get the roter to work the first time I tried it. Using
the roter to get to your chosen item is a little tricky, but I really
like the swipe either up or down to go through the different choices
within your chosen item.

Joshua, that is really great at this point you're learning a little
something about the rotor. Even though, some people on here explained it, I
couldn't seem to understand it for the longest time and I tried doing the
rotor and I couldn't make it work. Then about a month ago I decided to try
Hi Joshua. I think you are whise, to stay with standard typing, until you
get much more familiar with the iPhone.

I, for one am glad you called Apple accessibility. I believe they can give
you much better support and advice than the phone carriers.
And doing the reset on the phone actually helps you learn more about it and
lets you know that it can fix many things.Quite a good turn around from
wanting to
Hi Joshua,
Sorry the touch typing didn't work for you. I think I moved to it fairly
quickly after getting my first iPhone but I realize we're all different when it
comes to what works best for us. I suspect you'll find touch typing much faster
for input after you get more familiar with
Hi Alan and all. I got in touch with apple support. I am almost done
downloading my phone's software again. My phone will have to be set
up again from scratch. I really locked up my phone. I did learn a
bit how to use my phones roter with voice over though. ?That was
pretty cool. I just
Hi Joshua,
I'm glad to hear you are back in standard typing. Although, I'm surprised to
hear you didn't already have iTunes on your phone when you purchased it. My
personal opinion is you should call Apple Accessibility for your problems.
Apple Accessibility is very patient, understanding,
Joshua,
To reset or reboot your iPhone 8 as Anna suggested, press the volume up button
once, the volume down button once, and then hold down the power button. The
volume buttons are on the left side of the phone and the power button is on the
right side.

Hi Joshua,
Try resetting your phone. If it's earlier than a 7, hold down the Home and
Power buttons for 10 seconds to do this. For a later phone, check online or in
the iPHone manual for a way to do this.

Hi to all. I'm very glad I used the roter to get my voice over typing
back to standard typing. However, I totally broke my phone. My phone
then gave me the message connect to itunes. I downloaded and
installed itunes with no trouble. I connected my phone to the
computer, but Itunes didn't
