I like to take my phone to bed at night and keep it under my pillow. I
enable the 'do not disturb' feature from the time I go to bed
There is really a big learning curve to no home button! Hang in there. Many
times I wanted to trade my X. Practice, practice and more practice. Two things
to remember:
1. Go to very bottom of the screen to find the haptic, and I mean the very
bottom. Now, there are three different pressures
(if you are still in the time when you can return
your XR, this is only a temporary solution since I don't see the home button
coming back.

than swiping too quickly. I had to learn this and it took time but now I find

If you go and turn raise to wake off then when you just put your finger on the
home button it does not open the iPhone. I want to be able to open the iPhone
without having to push in the home button. So your suggestion to turn off raise
to wake does not allow me to rest my finger

I have the raise to wake feature on and rest to open feature on. So when I
pick up my iPhone the screen comes on and gives the time and date etc. Then
if I rest my finger on the home button it will open my iPhone to the icon

I also cannot get this feature to work. I have checked the appropriate settings
and cannot rest my finger on the home button to get it to unlock my phone.
This happens whether or not I have raise to wake on or off.
I called Apple support about this and they had no suggestions

My friend went into display and brightness and turn off raise to wake. He also
made sure that rest to unlock was turned on. Now with raise to wake off he puts
his finger on the home button but it does not unlock with the raise to wake
feature turned off. Any ideas on how to get
