Don't know if this is limited to iOS 8, however in the latest version of
Facebook Messenger for iOS you can now use the actions rotor to delete messages
as well as perform other actions. So to delete a message you can now swipe to

Hi all
Is it safe to turn off Handoff and still make/receive calls on both my iPhone
4s and iPad Mini with Retina? Asking as only the latter has full Handoff
capabilities while the former only supports making and receiving calls.

The official Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps work just fine. FaceTime
allows you to make and receive calls from and to other Apple devices over wifi
or cellular data if supported. This is unlike wifi calling introduced in iOS 8.
Both video and audio calls can be made and received. FaceTime

The new Family Sharing service introduced in iOS 8 is just fantastic. I have
set up Family Sharing for myself (organizer) and added my manager (Hannah Day)
to the family. Well Apple don't need to know we are not related smile. We put
it to the test yesterday when Hannah purchased a song
I use this too and all is fine here. I have to temporarily switch it to away
mode first before tabletop mode works successfully. Anyone has this?

Lol! That will be part of the handoff feature in iOS 8. This allows calls to be
made and received from any device running iOS 8 including iPad and iPod Touch
as well as Macs running Yosemite coming soon.
