There are FTP servers that can run on the windows boxes. A free one is
available at www.cygnus.com. This eliminates the "two step process" problem.
Cygnus also includes an encrypted FTP server and client, and also has some
nice facilities for scripting.

Unfortunately not. WinVNC is strictly works with the screen, keyboard and
mouse no matter which flavour you use. It also supports sharing of the

Hello,

RPM (rpm -Uvh), and now vncserver doesn't work. I get the following

Hello everybody,
When i start my vnc using the command vncserver, it works ok. If i start it
with the command Xvnc, there will be a keyboard doing strange things. i have
made those changes to my files in order to get VNC sessions started by xdm.
Here are my notes for xdm/Xvnc:

I think in this case you need to build the C code with debugging enabled and

David,
If VNC is running as a service, then look at the registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3]
Then if it is missing, add the following like:
"ConnectPriority"=dword:0002
The value 2 at the end relates to the following:
Value of 0 = Disconnect exi

I have VNC 3.3.3 r9 installed and cannot find the ConnectPriority Registry
key. Do I have to create this key? And what type of key should it be? Also,
will this require a server reboot?

Hello,
I will really be thankful, if anyone can help me in this matter.
I have VNC viewer and VNC server on two different LANs. To access the remote
VNC server, I want to launch VNC Viewer on a specific port of the client
machine. Is there any option available in VNC to specify the port explicitl
Hello,
I'm having a problem starting VNC 3.3.3 on HP-UX 11, I can strart it OK from
the command line and connect OK to the session, but the same startup
