Cengiz,
You are still running VNC Viewer Free Edition 4.0, rather than VNC Viewer
Enterprise Edition. You have never been running the TightVNC viewer on the
Linux machine, according to the logs you have posted, so I'm not sure what
makes you think that you have!

Thanks, Wez, but I still have problems. I just downloaded the VNC

Heya. I need to politely disagree: if Scott's wife
was on a network behind an unconfigured firewall/router, your
suggestion doesn't fully address his needs -- if she were using
a dialup modem only, of course it would. But if not, then the

has done this or not?
I believe tight vnc took the aproach you are describing.

VNC 4 handles all three clipboard mechanisms provided by X, provided that
the VNC Config applet is running on the VNC desktop. VNC Config by default
assumes that applications know how to use the X clipboard properly, but some
applications don't. These application's clipboards will tend to work if

Why??
When I close xclipboard only copy in Linux and paste in WinXP works.
THis is due to the multiple buffers in X11 and the one that is used: There are

I don't understand your comment about your keyboard being fine - we are
