I would like to know if I upgrade to RealVNC Viewer 4.1 from version 4.0.0.26, will I still be able to access another computer with RealVNC Server 4.0.0.26 installed or is it necessary to upgrade the Server as well. Also can the RealVNC Viewer 4.1 under Win 2K access a computer using Windows XP

1 problem i originally had at home was it never worked, then after about 6 weeks it did for no apparent reason, then in work i was setting up VNC, and i realized it still didn't work, the way i resolved this was to update my router firmware (i have a Netgear DG834) after doing that, it worked fine.
