I'm sorry, I forgot about the ability to search the list archive. I found
postings that indicate that scaling is not in 4.0, and may not be for a
while. They also indicated that 3.3.x clients can connect to a 4.0 server
and use scaling in that way.

work as advertised now in server version 3.3.5. :)

When regularly using Windows (no VNC) a common way to highlight/select text
to copy to the clipboard using the keyboard is by holding shift and using
the arrow keys to select a few characters or a few lines, et
initdefault in inittab to "5". I had it at "3" because I
prefer the console login, but it is a small price to pay for such a cool
interface to vnc!

no problems. I am new to the linux version. I have some linux experience,
