Yes, in some situations RDP can "cohabit" with VNC without any
problem. At least, with my test XP Pro which isn't inside a domain:
when there's already an RDP session and when I start a VNC session, the
RDP session is dropped immediately. It worths notice that FUS isn't
used in this test comp

I can confirm that once you have enabled and used Remote Desktop to
connect to a machine, you will no longer be able to make VNC
connections to it. This was with VNC 4.0 to a Widnows Server 2003
