Thanks Mike! I think "F8+f" is exactly what I need, though "F8+F8" is better
to me :-P
I did a search on this topic before, though not able to get a solution:
1 Remap ThinkPad specific "forward/back" keys to switch workspace (as your
first suggestion). It doesn't work in Full Screen mode.
