Hi: Thanks Mike! I think "F8+f" is exactly what I need, though "F8+F8" is better to me :-P I did a search on this topic before, though not able to get a solution: 1 Remap ThinkPad specific "forward/back" keys to switch workspace (as your first suggestion). It doesn't work in Full Screen mode. 2

Hi, gurus: We can use "ctrl + alt + left/right/up/down arrow" on Linux to switch workspace rapidly, which is very useful to some guys. But after entering VNC "full screen" mode, these key maps no longer take effect but captured by VNC itself, unless we give up the full screen mode by typeing F8 fi
