I know this is not strictly Mac related but when I asked about
recommendation regarding digital cameras there were a number of Mac
users who owned a Kodak DC5000 camera which I eventually purchased.
I read yesterday that Kodak are recalling all DC5000 cameras as there

Hi folks,
I have a workmate who has recently purchased an MGE UPS unit (the Pulsar
Ellipse 500) to help protect his new iMac (flat panel) from power surges and to
also give him adequate time to back up his files if the power should go out.
However, the two devices don't connect!

Can anyone help me find a cable that will run between the UPS unit
and the new iMac? It will be a IEC C5/C6 (female) to a IEC C13/C14

them.
Could anybody please advise on software/hardware required to watch TV though
iMAC?

Whups - maybe I should clarify - I'm not after a usual CPU to monitor power
cable, but because the new iMac has a weird power connector (in the shape of
mickey mouse ears) it's a cable that I haven't come across yet.
The back of the iMac has a plug that looks like:

Can anyone please advise on the following. What is the 'best' way to
network a Mac into a network of PCs (x3) via a hub, with an ADSL
ethernet modem running off one of the PCs? I shall get more info
tomorrow re the problems my colleagues are having. I'm checking out
archives etc.
Hi all :)
I have recently set up a new system which has three monitors attached
to it - one 19' non mac via the vga output, one 15' non mac bin
monitor via an adapter cable from the adc output and one pal tv via
firewire and through a canopus advc-100. I am also running an amp and

Ok, so I have to ask, what's a bin monitor? Do you mean you use it
for clip bins in Final Cut Pro or something?
I usually go through all

One of my colleagues used an unpublishable response to your request, so
I won't repeat it here,

a) it doesn't exist. Never did.
b) I'm pretty sure it won't go on a Quadra anyway, 8.5 is PowerPC only.
