There was some chat about the new phone from sonyericson and how it could
interface with mac os x etc. Can someone tell me if you can enter addresses
etc for contacts? I'm fed up with having contacts on my organiser and phone
numbers only on my phone.

I bought a Canoscan N124ou with my Imac. The software that came with it only
worked in 9 which wasn't much good but recently I've downloaded the updates;
Canoscan Toolbox X and ScanGear CS v7.0.1.0X which worked like a dream.

I have never been able to get DVDs burnt from iDVD to work properly on
PCs with DVD-ROMs..
They work well on virtually all dedicated DVD players though. And most
commercial DVDs work fine on PC dvd drives.

I was working away and suddenly everything froze.
So I used the restart button to reboot.
One start up a window opened telling me that there the internal memory check
had found a problem with the cache and that I should contact a service
technician.
The problem is that I am in Phuket
I am using Imagebrowser version 2.3.4.20 (downloaded from the
Australian Canon site) and don't have any problems. In fact I was
using iPhoto before, but with over 2000 digital photos I was
experiencing slow performance and crashes.
I would not recommend iPhoto with lots of photos.

Ouch, does sound like the backside cache chip has spat the dummy. To fix it
requires a new logic board (ie the backside cache is soldered on). If that is
correct then the PowerBook will still work (much slower) but it's not viable to
fix. There was an identical occurrence discussed on a
Hit Apple's home page. ICal is at 1.01 and appears to have some major
upgrades. Isync is out of beta at 1.0.
