Hey everyone,
That story someone posted about some dude turning his G5 into a pc that
gave some people nightmares etc etc has turned out to be a hoax. While
I thought it was real, i didn't really care since you'd have to be an
absolute loser to do that.
Take a look:
I notice that macmall.com.au is advertising that they have imported
versions of Quicken 2004 for sale on the net
Does anyone know of anybody in Perth that would stock this or does
anyone have a copy they want to sell. I would prefer to buy locally
and off the shelf if possible...
This week its $125 the lot
For sale:
1 x Fantom Drives Firewire 16X CD Burner
1 x Zip Drive with 6 x 100 Mb discs
1 x Keyspan USB - serial dual adaptor
64 Mb P100 G4 RAM
All in perfect working order.
$150 the lot
The same happened to me.
Whilst you receive other's postings, someone has to manually enable you to
make postings. In my case this took around 10 days, probably due to holidays
and such.
Matt Healey can help.
Cheers
Rod

I wonder what Apple would actually do with all these old G4's. I doubt
they'd be sold 2nd hand and the parts probably wouldn't be all that
useful. Perhaps they'd be donated or something. It would seem like a
waste to just retrieve them and then throw them out.

Does anyone have experience with Eudora the email program?
I'm using Eudora Pro 3.0. For years it's run v. well, but now received
mail in the in box (and other filtered boxes) as well, isn't highlighted as
being unread by having a little black dot beside it.
I've messed around re-setting

Folks,
I have just acquired an iMac 350Mhz machine from a government
department at a bargain price (Dont laugh Phil!!). After setting it
up and letting loose on a bloke who doesn't normally use Macs, its
now frozen.
We ran a few diagnostics, found the usual crop of files with wrong
files
