I think I have resolved the 'Attachments go astray' mystery.
Checking in the Help of Eudora I found the following entry:
What do the Parts and Cache folder in my Eudora Folder do?
Document ID: 1574HQ
The Parts folder is like the attachments folder, except that
it's used for

Can anyone help me with instructions on how to transfer LPs to CD? I
have the Griffin connection from my stereo amplifier, and Toast 7. I
can find no instructions on how to record the LPs onto my hard disc
or directly to a CD. I'd appreciate any advice.
Cheers,

Hi all.
Last year I transferred all my VHS tapes to dvd via imovie/idvd.
I would like to transfer about 30 secs off the dvd to use in iphoto
slideshow for a birthday.
I no longer have access to analogue to digital convertor.
I do have canon digital camera, could I use output from dvd player
You could do that, or you could get MPEGStreamclip, which is a good
free application that can rip parts of DVDs for use in iMovie and
FCP. There are other similar software solutions out there too, such
as DVDXDV .
You can find MPEGstreamclip here
Hi Dane The company that supplied Mitsubishi with the GPS that is in
my Pajero went broke so we got no upgrades. Mitsubishi have therefore
given us a TomTom One I have found this excellent so far and it
seems to 'know' a fairly recent version of WA roads. I would also
recommend them.
The latest Macworld (jan 2007 p 10) has an advert for a USB
turntable to convert directly to CD or MP3. A bit pricey at $349,
but if like me. you have over 300 vinyls, might be worth it. They
also include MP3 sunglasses!!
Techtools.com.au is their website,

Hi Jon,
There is currently a warranty extension program for this particular
model of emac here : http://www.apple.com/support/exchange_repair/

I guess if your serial number falls in the range specified, that is
most likely your problem.
This happened to my 1.25 ghz emac too, hard

Hi Jon,
Is it possible that you have some faulty RAM memories, or a memory module
which is somehow loose? See if any of the RAM modules is not loose, and try
reseating them.
Sorry, can't suggest anything else.
Good luck.

Hi,
I am running OSX 10.3.9
My problem is that a number of the icons on my desktop will change without
warning. Usually either on mounting (thumb drive) or saving documents (excel
for example)
It is driving me nuts. The items involved will open correctly but the chosen
icon is most commonly
Some ideas:
* Run Applications/Utilities/Console.App and look for any problems or
repeated messages in console.log or system.log.
* Run memtest from http://memtestosx.org/ from single user mode overnight
* Create a new 'Clean' user and see if the problem persists for that
user. If not then
I'm after a non working iPod mini which I can cannibalise for parts.
If anyone has one they want to dispose of please send it to
PO Box 571

the part I am after is the touch pad molex connector.
