I haven't been able to use ebay recently and their helpline has suggested I upgrade my Java. My present version seems to be Java 1.4.2 and the latest 1.6.13. However when I try to upgrade, Java refers me to my software update page and that doesn't mention any Java updates Thanks, Dick

Hi Paul, I don't have specific information re TAFE however at Curtin we use Archicad 12 which is free for students and runs on Mac OS X and Windows - go to www.graphisoft.com. We also use AutoCAD which is really not free, and Windows only, however one of my colleagues has tested it with Parallels
