I had one of these... a bit flimsy compared to sage ready stuff but good enough for learning. the USB port started to come loose after a few months then snapped off completely inside the unit.. OK that was probably because of space restrictions I was needing to plug and unplug it ever

Pedro, I have to disagree with you on this one. I don't have the TomTom but do use the Sygic alternative. It, like the TomTom, uses the internal GPS and has proved very accurate. It doesn't use downloaded information from cell towers.As for the voice navigation. The Sygic uses voice direction but
