Hi Eugene You don't normally need to run the software. Generally you can log in from a web interface and log in to the Netgear direct and set it up from there. (Most Netgears are 192.168.0.1 by default). Then you can follow the web wizard to set it up. :) If it's got the VoIP feature built in, t

Canon MP640 as a scanner

Hi Rosie I have one of those and it works perfectly with vuescan. Available at http://www.hamrick.com. I bought it years ago and, with free unlimited updates it's worked on all the scanners I've ever had. I agree the Canon driver is not good. But the scanner works well. Cheers Mike On 01/0

Hi Alex Although a different model, my experience with a Canon Pixma MP640's scanner has been impossible. According to the specs, this unit should scan, copy and print okay on my iMac (OSX 10.4.11), via WIFI setup. I've set it up with Airport, and I will say that the printer works seamle

Hi Eugene I'd give Belkin a call as some of their products are covered by long warranties. If it's still covered they generally send you out a new one, and in the interim just use an old ADSL modem (or get a very cheap "spare" one) for just the ADSL
