I've been doing a bit of work on these sorts of units for some primary
school music teachers and there are a lot of options in these external
USB AD/DA interfaces. These are needed as the teachers have laptops not

straight into the mic jack on your m
Ah, now we're back to having an audio in socket again... ie for
using an external microphone or sound input.
And it looks like we're back to the bad old days of having the power
plug prongs integrated into the powerpack, as opposed to being on the
end of a cable. Sigh. Will they never learn?
