Aside from the software mentioned in the MacWorld article mentioned below, there are some freeware programs that will do the job. Coaster is good for recording to hard drive, and I use a free program called sonicworx basic for simple editing (e.g. track clipping etc). Try versiontracker for

Terry Go to your Macintosh friendly library and dig up Aust MacWorld Dec 01 which had an entire article dedicated to this topic. It included suggested software both commercial and shareware and heaps of other useful information. Eugene I would like to record some of my LP records on to CD

The company Roxio that make toast also have just released a new version of Jam that is used specifically for your purpose it will get rid of a lot of the hissing noises associated with transfer of Audio from LP. Check it out at the same website as toasts www.roxio.com Regards, [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Toast isnt worth using due to all the hiss... Get ProTools from www.digidesign.com It comes in a free version and will do the trick. ProTools lets you edit the data to a high degree after importing (via recording) the Lp tracks. cheers, Robbie Robert Griffin Morgan
