Since yesterday I have not been able to connect to web sites using https.
Safari reports that it can't make a secure connection. The 2 sites I have
tried are Bankwest and eTrade. I connect to these sites daily and they have

with Safari you do not see the Bankwest Secure screen URL
and hence you do not see https
although it does show you the closed

I'm in Sydney on Bigpond Cable and have had exactly the same problem with
AppleTalk. I also can't access Apple User Group mailing lists and get some
SMTP errors from my ISP when I send mail through my own servers. Somethings
up big time.
