you need a copy of something in :-Hard drive-Library-Image Capture
A copy of that "plug in" might do it
but it depends on whether Image Capture can talk to the Plugin !

Can someone please tell me if there is an advantage to using VueScan over
say Epson Scan (V1.27e)?
I have been using the Epson Scan software ever since I purchased my Epson
