Has anyone used the IR port on a TI to dial out through their Nokia that can
give me some tips for new players.
I setup a TI today with the modem set to IR port the Nokia infrared script
selected. Checked that IR was turned on on the 6210 tried dialling out but
the phone just sat there doing
Are there any gotchas with this that might save me some time.
I know one of my old (Nokia) phones had to have the IR Activate
option selected from the phone menu before it opened itself up for
any IR communications...

Just in case anyone is interested, I have found that disabling the second serial
port on the keyspan adapter has revived the dead IR port on my powerbook.

When I try to open the Infrared control panel, I get the following message:
The Infrared control panel cannot run on this Macintosh because IrDA is not
available.
It looks like the port is not being recognized.
