I agree that Season 7 is a bit better than Season 6. I think the difficulties of replacing Don Knotts and Betty Lynn were evident in Season 6. Also, Jack Dodson moved into a comfortable groove as Howard in Season 7. Also, "Goober's Contest" always brings a tear to my eye watching Howard McNear w
