Just finished watching the Sand Pebbles and was surprised at the number of
TAGS alum!
Of course Gavin McCloud was an obvious stand out, but I also spotted Barney
Phillips [Eddie Brooke] (though I didn't know his name until I looked him
up.)

I never lived in a small town - but in a town the size of Mayberry and a police
force of only two - how can both Andy and Barney continually be off duty
together and out of communication with - I guess Sarah?

After seeing today's episode about the descendant of Nathan Tibbs and hearing
Barney claim relation to Duncan Phyfe saying "sooner or later someone had to
spell it right" I decided to look up Duncan.
