For some reason I thought of something right off and am surprised nobody else
has mentioned it. At the end of the episode where Bea, Clara and Myrtle go to
Mexico, Andy, Howard and Emmett are playing their souvenir maracas.

Since so many enjoy seeing TAGS alumni in other roles I got to thinking. (Tough
to do without a bucket)
What are some of your favorite non TAGS roles by your favorite Mayberry
residents?
For me 2 come to mind:
1. Will Wright as the sheriff of Bent Fork Tenn on I Love Lucy
and
2. Frances Bavie
While we all love TAGS I'm sure most of us have our own favorite episodes. This
got me to thinking about individual quotes. Does everyone have a favorite that
never fails to make you smile?

Add to the list of appearances on TAGS and Matlock:
Arlene Golonka and Pat Hingle
Something I have wondered about lately is what movie or tv episode, other than
the obvious (Matlock, Mayberry RFD) had the most TAGS alumni appear at any one
time? I can think of 7 in The Ghost And Mr. Chicke

I don't know how Andy's house was paid for, but he didn't inherit it. In the
episode you mention, when Barney tried to get Andy to sell the house, he told

Sorry folks. I don't know of another scene inside Foley's market, but in the
episode where Opie competes for the delivery job, he worked for Mr. Dokes, not
Foley.

While it sounds like you are in for a good time, I must offer you a word of
caution.
Down at the barbershop, Floyd has been gossiping again. For some reason he
thinks Peggy has plans to visit and take over your household.
As much as we all love TAGS, somehow I don't think Linda would
understand.
.I would like to add a few couples for consideration:

Ed Sawyer and Lucy Matthews

This got me curious. What do you think the other 73 were?

A very impressive list. There are 2 that I can think of right off that are

I saw the episode of Dick Van Dyke which you mentioned. That juror, who was a

I've always loved the game of baseball. Unfortunately. I was never any good at

Does anyone know why some characters on TAGS have differing names? They are

Actually there were 2 female deputies in Mayberry. During the only Christmas

I've seen Will Wright in quite a few shows, but to me this was by far

I just recently saw this episode again. I may be wrong, and, according to my
