Tom Jacobs did not speak in many of his appearances on TAGS.However, in
the episode where Goober takes the car apart, there is a scene where people are
standing outside the courthouse, and Tom Jacobs says "How did he do it"?He
is not shown saying the words, but that is
Hey, Mayberry friends. At one time Mr. Jacobs worked at the market. I can't
remember the name of the episode, but he comes out of the market to view a
ruckus on Main Street and he's wearing an apron like Mr. Foley used to.

Here is the trivia question, Does anyone recall what real job Tom Jacobs was
shown doing on TAGS? Of course he was shown doing this real job only one
time. And even in this show he was not given a name. I will give you a hint,
his job required heavy labor, not something like working in a store

Episode 13: Mayberry Goes Hollywood, A producer decides to make a movie
in Mayberry.
Wasn't Tom Jacobs in a white lab jacket painting a sign on a window.
Andy comes by and shakes his head and Tom looks up from painting and
