In response to Eric s post I can think of 2 times Barney repeated a character s
name when Nalor threw a chicken at his wife and the time Jubil sorry about the
spelling was running the still and set his own barn on fire I
Paul Gilkes that was very nice of you to give Joseph Williams a photo of
his grandmother, Lurene Tuttle.
Ken Anderson that is a lot of parades you did this summer. Keep up the good
work.

It seems as if life is (nearly) imitating TAGS:
1) From 1913 to 1938, the U.S. mint issued buffalo nickels...the kind seen on
the episode of TAGS where Barney had a rare nickel because his Buffalo faced
the opposite way that Andy's did. On that nickel, it faced left but in 2005 the
Mint issued
Andy almost used the word mollycoddling once; in Andy's Vacation he was
having a pretty bad day, and while talking to Barney he barked I'm tired of
coddlin' these people. From now on when they break the law, it's either fine
'em or jail 'em.

Allan,
Thanks for all of the efforts you have put into the Digest, and for
continuing to make it a pleasant place for all of us Andy fans to come
home to each day. I appreciated reading the history of it's beginning and
the process it has gone through to make it what it is today. In the past, I
well i was right on the barrel. tonight we had (forgive me fans) color
episodes and we had two Mayberry faces to enjoy Joel Redlin and Arthur
Malet. Ferdie (Sorry i said Fergie,I was listioning to one of her recent
hits) and Purvis. Well here we go down the road to Mayberry again, Col.Tim.
