Looks like it will be gorgeous weather for Mayberry this year, even for the
parade!! Forecast highs for Friday and Saturday around 76-78, depending
on who you believe!! For the parade, overnight lows 54 so it will be a
little chilly for the start of the paradeand a high of 78 and
Ken, it MIGHT have been the gypsies. But I thought of another possibility:
"Through the forest wild and free comes a gypsy melody...or perchance the hand
of Count Isvan Telecky."

I too feel for the loss of ones home. Mine went to mold while i was taking
care of my parents. I lost alot of Star Trek, Andy, and Laura Ingalls Wilder
things from mold. And, like Paul has said there is no price for the memories.
And, many like Hawthorne Village items are gonna be hard to fi
I think I need to see old Doc or else buy some of the Indian Elixir from
Colonel Harvey. I have been a bit under the weather. I blame it on the
warm winter we have been having. I opened the window one day and

A while back someone brought up the subject of severe weather in Mayberry.
Mayberry was indeed once hit by a tornado. Andy mentions it in "Goober's
Contest," when Goober asks how Floyd will react when he finds out that he did
not really win a large prize.

My prayers go out for Paul and all others who have suffered loss due to the
tornadoes.
I am glad Paul and his family were unhurt. I'm going to double my efforts to

the victims of these tragedies.

I thought of another time there were bad storms in Mayberrythe episode
where Luke Comstock returned to pay Andy a visit, and Barney thought he was
coming back to do Andy in..he sent Aunt Bee and Opie over to Clara's (I
think), and Aunt Bee said storms made her so nervous. Andy told her to
might appear elsewhere.

There was also the bad storm that kind of impacted communication between
Barney and Andy on the phone when Sam's wife was having her baby.
All the rain Mayberry got caused the church to settle again after they dug a
ditch on one side.
