I too have dug this discussion. It's great to hear some discussion of the
human side of web development for a change and how other people handle the
all too common battle to justify fair rates.

Thanks guys. I'm still not convinced that I should be declaring the OO
array any differently than I am already. I'm basing this on the fact that
isArray(gvobjCart.Items) returns true and I can loop through gvobjCart.Items

Riva,
I have had that happen to me also. I didn't know that it had a white
strip on top of it until I opened it in PaintShop Pro, and there it is.
Sorry. The good news is once I cropped off the white part at the top,
the page is perfect.

All I can see that is causing the white line at the top is because your
background.gif has a white space at the top. Crop off that white strip
and it should work just fine.

I put up a "placeholder" page for a client and find that it appears with

In VBScript Arrays DO start indexing at 0 so Clancy's referencing (0, 0) is
correct.

Have a client who wanted to provide download access to their weekly

access allowed... ActiveX, .NET, Java or any other technology.
Their server is IIS, so I was able to do some hand-coded ASP scripting to

Hi there are two options I see why it's not working. One is, as you assumed,
declaration of a 2d array: In my knowledge it has to be done this way:
dim arS
reDim arS(2)
The second thing is indexing: Arrays don't start at 0, but instead at 1, so
arS(2)="name" is a valid statement.
