I can't open Acrobat Reader 7.0; I repaired; nbg. I deleted and then
re-installed; hurrah! Up it came. Closed it. Tried both downloading to
browser a pdf, and opening from shortcut and from .exe file and nbg again.
Any thoughts?

OK, self-knowing being the in thing, I have got as far as realising that the
problem is in some way to do with HDD cache (since I have a similar problem
with Photoshop). According to the visual Xp Defrag seems not to create
great chunks of cacheable area in 'C', so although there may be a lot of
I'm trying to transfer a MySQL database from my testing server to my

Dan,
Typically, I set up the database on the remote server before hand and
only export the tables from my local DB to an SQL file, rather than the
whole database.

I have developed a website in Dream Weaver that is having serious
banding problems. It works trouble free in FireFox and Netscape 8, but
in IE 6 it has banding or streaking problems. When each page initially
downloads it looks great, but when it has been cached and you go back to

I just looked at this now and don't see the banding or streaking that
you are talking about.Just a suggestion anyway - it might be an idea
to set up (in the tags) that the page doesn't cache. If you mean
that the page jumps - it would be the css doing that. I had the same

I don't see it either. One comment: on your "about toastmasters" page,
the last link: www.toastofchicago.org includes the space between the

By 'fine', I just meant that the structure would be included in the SQL:

Hello one and all,
I am working on a website that uses a data file and binds it to a table
object. The data is then read from the file and placed into the table
cells. However the datasrc and datafld attributes are not getting
through the validator service regardless of whether I use html 4.
