I'm a Pop-up killer, too - run PopUp Stopper constantly. But this
ad bypassed PopUp Stopper - it wasn't a 'new' window... it was an
animated graphic with sound that popped up inside the parent window
and moved across the content. Very short and amusing - more like a
cartoon than most ads.
I
Whoops! My mistake. It *does* need to be online to grab the
ad - appears to be going through DoubleClick and grabbing the
JavaScript ad code from ds.eyeblaster.com - something called
BurstingScript.
The page still works and is 60+k zipped if you want to try it.
Cheers,
Tom

KaoFar,
I can recommend Activ Ebook compiler - get a free version to try at
http://www.ebookcompiler.com
Lots of help on all aspects of ebook production, both in the program and at
the related web sites, including a users forum. Cost of the full program is
US$29.95.

Tom,
Yes please and thanks. I'd like to see it (and see if I can understand the

Robert,
Thanks for testing and for your comments.
Looks really good. Very easy to navigate. I would only suggest making
the
navigation bar buttons and possible non-scrollable.
The drawback is so many links. But I was unsure about the scrollling; I
will change that in some way.
Thanks Perry,
That sounds right.

Joseph,
Could you (or any lister) share the making of e-book? e.g., what kind of
software tool you need to create e-book? ... Or other tips to follow. Thanks

as many of the proclaimed Free programs were actually
commercial apps - but for the IN YOUR FACE. popup 70's
