Here's another point: Adobe seem to have fallen to the same condition afflicting other free software suppliers lately. Version 5 wasn't bad, but have you tried Acrobat Reader 6? it's another of those bloated megalomaniac programs that wants to phone home to the corporation every time you run

Folks, Thanks to everyone who offered their feedback. It's much appreciated. I hadn't realised that the Acrobat reader had swollen to such huge proportions. Practically 9 meg of download is a bit much to ask people to swallow. On the download site if you select the option for broadband download
