Well after quite a bit of testing I could not get Interceptor or the modified Interceptor to work for me :( But... I found a different Ecowitt Weewx driver here... https://github.com/iz0qwm/ecowitt_http_gateway And that works :) I now have all the basic data being ingested into my Weewx

Good information, although I don't understand it. The 'weeplot' image generator actually caches fonts, exactly for this reason. Many years ago, we experienced memory leaks, due to PIL not properly recycling font handles. So, in revision 8615d0f3, added over 7 years ago, we introduced the cache.
