The problem was that the driver not sent a get request but there are no log on
syslog when it fail. Also, when it fail, weewx not reports each 1min (it's my
archive interval).

So it seems that part of the problem is that the support for gzipped data
from Darksky doesn't work (python(2 or 3) issue), so forcing (in code)
non-compressed queries
resolved that issue. This is using a clean install of 3.9.2. At this
point, I'm not sure I care about 4.1.1 or python3 :^), bu

No readily available files for French exist that I know of, however there's
quite a few folks from France in this thread that helped shape the way the
skin can be translated. Maybe reach out there to see if someone replies?

My apologies, I thought your problem involved WeeWX rsync not working.
I assume you are trying to execute the command below from the command line
on your WeeWX machine. As I pointed out in my previous post a common issue
is that passwordless ssh has been setup for a given user account that is

weewx html pages render fine. weather34/index.php renders white page with
no source.
if I request other php files e.g. weather34/homeindoor.php the 7 temp
blocks will be displayed.

Hello,
I saw that the skin can be easily translated into another language. You
must use the conf file. To avoid reinventing the wheel, are translations
made by foreigners grouped somewhere.
I'm looking for the French translation.

Hello Manfred,
Thank you for your answer. It's work.
I am really impressed with the power of the graphs. And they are very easy
to use. well done.

Sorry about that Gary. Remembered to post a log...forgot the flag. Once I

I used with Weewx 3.9.1(Python2) for a long time and it worked well with no

I have just updated to version Weewx 4.1.1 (python3), and this error occurs
several time a day.

Hi,
By default the WeeWX daemon runs as root, so unless you have changed this root
needs passwordless ssh access to the server to which you wish to sync your
files. Did you give root passwordless ssh access or was it some other account?
If this is the problem you have two choices; either change
If weewx is running as root then usually by default the root user is not
allowed to ssh
Did you try the root@server ssh or were you just using another user?

Hi
I want to send copy from raspberrypi to a remote server with rsync to
update my website with last changes.
I have verified that I can connect via ssh passwordless using public and
private keys with no problem to server (ssh user@server)
The problem comes when I try to do the same with rsync;
Gary,
Restarting the database server process did in fact reproduce the error. It
looks like weewx re-initialises itself to try and recover from the dropped
database connection - and, as you say, that must cause some state mismatch.
I applied your patch and have restarted the server - confirming
I will try and reproduce by restarting my database server process. If I can
reproduce that will then allow me to test your workaround - I have to work
out how to fill the gaps from wunderground anyway so the time is right for
experimentation!
