Gary,
You are correct. I'm not sure how I got the older one, unless it came over
with the customizations like extensions when I copied from my backup of
previous version. All is well! Thank you for the hints!

Hi All,
I'm running weex on a raspberry pi using fileparse. The weather station

I am running Weewx version 4.3 on a Raspberry Pi 3 which is running

Hi All,
I running WeeWX 3.9.1 on A Raspberry Pi 3 B+. I have set a loop interval
in the weewx.conf of 10 seconds, but looking at the incoming loop records
the interval appears to be 28-30 seconds. Is there a setting somewhere
else that would affect this?

Hi Gary and All who posted replies to this,
The issue is resolved. I did a complete uninstall of Weewx. I then did a
new install and manually edited the weewx.conf, putting in the necessary
basic info to get my station info, driver, label map, etc. No other
changes were made to the default s
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your reply. The undervoltage reports resulted from me using a

Hi,
I definitely did not have an interval of 10 seconds set anywhere. This was
just another of the weird issues that suddenly appeared after the unit had
been working well over the last couple of weeks. I did a clean install of
the OS and WeeWX and that problem is no longer an issue.

Gary,
I also forgot to add that the exact same thing is happening with the
observation ‘windGustDir’. Data shows up everywhere but in the REC packet,
where the value is ‘NONE’.

I forgot to ask, is there anyway to change the records in the database to ‘0.0’
instead of ‘NONE’?

Hi Gary,
After a fresh install of OS and WeeWX, the problem persists. I took your
advice and inserted the logging line into fileparse. I am seeing windGust
data in the incoming data stream, I see it in the LOOP packets and I see it
in the output of the logging command. What I see in the REC

Hi Gary,
You were correct!! The issue was with errors in my input file. The main
problem was how the data was being written to the file. It was being
committed to disk in chunks of what amount to about 360 lines, but it did
not always write complete lines at the last record in the chunk. I
I have an update on this issue. I modified the code that I'm using to
retrieve the info from the arduino and write it to the file that fileparse
is reading. It now checks the length of the retrieved line and discards it
if it is less than a certain length. That seems to have eliminated the

Hi Gary,
You are correct as far as the data file being the issue. I confirmed this
by creating a data file and then making sure that every record was
complete. Ran weewx using this data file and it proceeded with no issues.

I am using fileparse to capture incoming weather data from a file.
Watching syslog I notice that after a while fileparse starts to throw

value. For instance:
This is what the input record stream looks like:
