today i did another manual intervention on the station map database. the
index had become corrupted. still not sure what the root cause is of the
corruption. the initial failures in august seem to have been caused by
something godaddy did in their file system/server transition. i suspect
This is an ongoing issue that Matthew is aware of and in due course it will be
fixed (and I am sure we will be told when it is). Unfortunately Matthew is
otherwise busy and this issue has had to take a back seat for now. Other than
perhaps not updating the station map (my station seems to still
New Weewx user, working on migrating from WeatherCat.. I used to be a
wview user initially until.. Getting the same registration error here:

I'm glad this group exists and that search works. :-) I was surprised it

you can safely ignore the log messages from StationRegistry. the registry
extension only tries to contact the weewx registry once each week, and if
the connection fails it simply logs the failure. it will not interfere
with any other weewx reports or services.

Didn't realize this was a know issue, I searched weewx user and developer
and didn't see it mentioned . I first noticed it on the morning of Sept 29
around 10:00 UTC. Sorry I failed to mention earlier that my station is
Woburn Weather Center, located in Woburn,Massachusetts
