Ian, feel free to apply the necessary change to the 1.8.2 branch.
Okay, I'll do it after work today. I've been a little busy the last few
days!
Why only to the 1_8_2 branch ? Add it to the current 1.8.1+cvs, too...
It would be a temporary measure, but still usefull.
Until anybody comes up with time and willpower to code a good replacement
even a temporary solution in the development code would be nice, even more
if already present in a

Because 1.8.2 will be released in matter of days. 1.9 is under no
such pressure, so there's less need for temporary solutions.
There's a lot of people out there using cvs code.

Hi,
I want to use wget in a cron script to regularly download stuff and backup it.
I don't want to get bugged by cron with the output from wget (Time URL:
xxx...) so I tried using the quiet mode -q.
This was fine until some error on the server occured - I didn't spot it
because wget was too

I am doing genealogy and would like to automate download of obituaries from
various online papers. However, some of them have made doing this impossible
to automate.
One example, which is less difficult to automate, is this:

Beside the .netrc you could also use -i file and place the url there.
Also, there has been lately a patch on the list which iirc does permit
reading from a filehandle, too. In this moment I can't access my archives of
the list but possibly if that works with -i, too, that would be a solution.
Huh ?
The index.html placed there says to look at
http://space.tin.it/computer/hherold/ , where the description of those
packes are. Possibly the concept wasn't evident enough, so I just made more
clear you need to get ssllibs.zip, too, for ssl enabled binaries.
Or do you mean the two dlls
