Yes -- it is possible to enable the rich text editor through a user
preference setting. So users who prefer standard wiki editing will be able
to continue in the usual way.
I've not researched formula yet and we'll need to look into this.

about lots of topics, including community engagement.
Engagement through contributing - I looked through the WE community
portal to see if there was a home for this sort of thing.

I tried the editor and it looks good. Two limitations I did see with it. First
is that formulas require TeX markup, which would be difficult for newbies. And
the second is the ability to insert characters such as Greek letters.
Also I had no problem switching between wiki markup and the rich tex
